Diversity Equity & Inclusion Awareness Month Kickoff (PCC)
DAY/TIME: Wednesday, April 10, 2024, 12pm-2pm
LOCATION: PCC, Parking Lot 2, North of Alamitos Avenue
LBCC’s DEIA Awareness Month begins with the Resource Fair, centered around the theme “Embracing Diversity, Embracing Renewal” on Wed., April 10 from 12 p.m. – 2 p.m. in Parking Lot 2, PCC. This year marks the third consecutive year of collaboration with LA County Probation, the City of Long Beach Department of Health & Human Services and LA County Justice Care and Opportunities Department, all dedicated to supporting marginalized individuals. Additionally, this month is observed as “Second Chance Month,” focusing on informing and highlighting the various opportunities available to create significant second chances for our returning community members. The ultimate aim is to achieve inclusive excellence by fully embracing the value and power that diversity brings.
