Please Join the LBCC Horticulture Department for a Community Resource Fair featuring local garden groups and plant experts. 

Friday and Saturday, April 26 & 27, 2019, 9 am–4 pm

Walk the garden, smell the flowers, get some fresh air and enjoy the sunshine.  Learn about horticulture products and make new friends. Fun for the entire family!

Garden clubs, flower societies, representatives from local and historical gardens, sustainability groups, and more will be available to answer questions and educate participants on their areas of expertise.

Plant Experts

LBCC Horticulture students and alumni will be available to answer questions and provide garden or landscape tips and advice.

Society for Calligraphy, Southern California

  • Bookmarks: Get your name written on a bookmark in a variety of beautiful lettering styles.
  • Kid’s Art Area: Kids of all ages can hang out & try different drawing tools on their own or with the help of lettering artists.
  • Hands-On Demonstrations: Origami, paper books & create a Mother’s Day card.
  • Watercolor Flowers Workshops: Friday afternoon & Saturday morning. No experience needed & all supplies provided.
