Juneteenth Celebration to Include Stage Reading & Awards – Tues., June 25

LBCC Auditorium, Liberal Arts Campus
The campus community is invited to the Bob and Barbara Ellis Auditorium from 5 – 7 p.m., on Tues., June 25 for the world premiere stage reading of “Walk Right Up to the Sun” (a one-woman choreopoem with griot chorus) and the LBCC presentation of the 1865 Courageous Leader Award, 1865 Empowerment Award and the 1865 LBCC Student Award. Reception to follow.
