Managing Anxiety Workshop Series
The series of anxiety workshops will focus on providing psychoeducational information and teach skills to help manage anxiety. The first workshop will help bring a better understanding of the psychological and physical symptoms of anxiety, increase awareness of triggers, and participants will engage in a mindfulness activity. In the second workshop we will discuss the cycle of anxiety, unhelpful thoughts and behaviors, and help identify a healthier more balanced perspective. The third workshop will be an introduction of mindfulness in which mindfulness exercises will be practiced. Workshops will be facilitated by Mental Health Clinician, Daisy Cook LCSW. Daisy Cook is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction.
