Student Equity Speaker Series
Meet guest speaker, Alicia Cass

Event

Student Equity invites you to hear Alicia Cass, founder of the Metamorphosis Experience, share her story of transformation from being in the foster care system, a high school dropout, homeless teenage mother, and gang member, to Long Beach City College student, USC graduate, and author of Metamorphosis: The Butterfly Experience. She will speak about how she is using that experience to help women, girls, and youth in the South Los Angeles/Pasadena area who have been exposed to or who are at risk of exposure to violence-related trauma stemming from gangs, sexual assault, physical abuse, and domestic violence.

Attendees will receive a free copy of Metamorphosis: The Butterfly Experience and the book signing will take place directly following the talk.

Space is limited, so please RSVP to reserve your seat on Eventbrite at STUDENT EQUITY SPEAKER SERIES: ALICIA CASS.
