Women Build Metro LA
Supervisor Janice Hahn presents the Women Build LA Apprenticeship Readiness Fair at Long Beach City College.
Women Build Metro LA (WBMLA) was established in support of Metro’s Project Labor Agreement and Construction Careers Policy mandate. WBMLA is composed of women and men in construction-related industries, community advocates, stakeholders and decision-makers from the private and public sectors. Membership is open to all who want to work to help increase female participation in the transportation-related workforce.
This fair will highlight the steps needed to help pave the pathway to construction careers and give attendees the opportunity to meet women and recruiters from trade unions, construction-related businesses, and prime contractors.
You can register for the event online and all are welcome to participate.
Parking is free for the attendees to the event.
