COVID-19 Update: Assistance for LBCC Students During Campus Closure

Dear LBCC Students,

In response to Governor Newsom’s directive, those of us in California need to abide by a new set of even more strict guidelines to protect ourselves and others from the COVID-19 outbreak. Long Beach City College will keep you posted about any other possible changes this may mean for our campuses.

Assistance during campus closure

Although the campus is closed, LBCC Student Support Services is available to assist you remotely both online and over the phone. Click here to check out the latest information on services including:

  • EOPS/CARE/NextUP
  • Student Health Services
  • Counseling

If you find yourself needing to talk to someone in a specific department, you can call (562) 938-4111 to follow the prompts to the area you need. If your call is not answered right away, please leave a voicemail and your call will be returned.

Patience and flexibility are key for all of us right now, but we want to encourage you to stay in class. Don’t give up, because staying connected to your instructor and classmates will be important for your mental health as well as in achieving your educational goals in the future.
