Dear Colleagues,

In order to provide the campus with updated and consistent information, the following information reflects the latest Health Order issued by the City of Long Beach Department of Health and Human Services.

Effective at 11:50 p.m. on Saturday, July 17, 2021, the use of facial coverings for everyone in indoor public settings and businesses, regardless of vaccination status. The updated Long Beach Health Order is in alignment with the Los Angeles County Health Officer Order released on July 15, 2021. 

As a reminder, the current policy requires that Long Beach City College maintain essential personnel lists and contact tracing is still mandated for all employees regardless of vaccination status. Thus, these practices will remain unchanged. Likewise, the health screening process before entering onto campus and the temperature screening process will also remain in place for all employees regardless of vaccination status.
