Appendix – Acronyms 

The following is a list of official acronyms used at Long Beach City College. Please note this is a living document and content maybe changed or revised on a continuing basis. For first use, always spell out the name followed by the acronym in parenthesis, then use the acronym throughout the remainder of the document. 

Example: 

The Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses (10KSB) headquarters is hosted at Long Beach City College (LBCC). The 10KSB program serves successful small businesses that are ready to grow. It is part of the LBCC College Advancement and Economic Development (CAED) department that focuses on workforce and business development.
