David See has resided in the Long Beach and Lakewood area for 40 years. Following graduation from Lakewood High School, David attended Long Beach City College and transferred to the University of Southern California where he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Urban Planning. David has 27 years of experience as a professional City Planner and is currently employed at the City of Anaheim as a Principal Planner. He has served as project manager for large development projects including high density mixed use projects near the Angel Stadium, various housing projects, shopping centers, Redevelopment Agency projects such as the Packing House adaptive reuse project, a 27-acre Kaiser Hospital campus, and hotels in the Disneyland Resort area. He currently serves as the supervisor of the Current Planning division of the Planning Department and oversees all Planning Commission projects and agendas.

David has served on the boards of the Lakewood Village Neighborhood Association, the Douglas Park (Boeing project) task force, City of Long Beach General Plan Task Force, and numerous professional organizations.
