Student Activity

LBCC will be hosting Dr. Maniya Saee, at a book signing and discussion about her novel, The Swan. The event will be held at the PCC campus in the Lifetime Learning Center.

Dr. Saee received her PhD in history from the University of Frankfurt, where she taught European History.  She has written articles for German history magazines and has translated several short stories from German and English into Persian and Farsi. She moved to the United States in 2015 where she has continued teaching.  Last semester she taught German, Italian and Greek History for Travelers to students in the senior studies program. She wrote the novel The Swan in 2012 in German and Farsi.  She recently completed translating The Swan into English.

Her book will be available for sale at the event and can also be purchased on Amazon. The event is free and all attendees are welcome.
