We Are Long Beach

Student Activity

A moving collection of original monologues from current and former students, and former faculty spanning a range of ages, ethnicities, and experiences, sharing how and why they arrived in Long Beach. Their fascinating stories will evoke a gamut of emotions and reflect Long Beach’s motto as The International City.

The event will be held in the Old Dyer Hall (Building FF) on the PCC campus. Admission is free. Please bring a nonperishable food item for the Veterans Food Bank.

Monetary donations will also be accepted, benefitting LBCC’s Spotlight Theater Club and Veterans Club.

If you require accommodations, please contact the Disabled Students Programs & Services (DSPS) at least 72 hours prior to the event at (562) 938-4558 or (562) 938-4833 (TTY) or dsps-staff@lbcc.edu. If you require sign language interpreting services, or Communication Access Realtime Translation services, please contact Stephanie Bonales at sbonales@lbcc.edu or (562) 938-4918 at least 5 business days prior to the event.
