Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM)
Bystander Intervention Workshop

Workshop

An active bystander is someone who interrupts a potentially harmful situation, especially when it comes to sexual violence. They may not be directly involved but they do have the choice and opportunity to speak up and intervene. We can all be bystanders at any point. Learn how you can take action and intervene safely.

Presented by Kim Hamon, LBCC Student Activities and ASB Advisor.

April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month, otherwise known as SAAM. During this month, we raise awareness about sexual violence, how to prevent it, and how to support those who are affected by it. Open to LBCC Students, Faculty and Staff!
