The Career Center provides resources for students, faculty, and employers. We help students explore career interests and learn about what degree programs are right for them as well as providing job readiness support, and internship and job placement assistance. In addition, the Career Center works closely with our employer partners to promote internships and job opportunities as well as provide engagement opportunities through our Center for Community and Industry Partnerships. For faculty looking for classroom speakers or industry tours, the Career Center can arrange those connections.
Through dual enrollment, Long Beach City College is pleased to offer high school/K-12 students the opportunity to accelerate in their college and career pathways by earning college credit before completing high school. Dual enrollment provides opportunities for advanced academic or vocational work for high school students and is not intended as makeup work.
Making the Long Beach City College educational experience work better for students includes all of us – whether we work as counselors developing educational plans and exploring career options with students, or as faculty members teaching a class, or as staff members processing purchase orders and keeping the grounds beautiful.
