Sediment/o
Omar Pimienta
The LBCC Art Gallery is pleased to present Sediment/o, an exhibition whose title is drawn from a poetry collection by featured artist Omar Pimienta. The exhibition continues Pimienta’s longstanding exploration of borders, migration, memory, and the layered realities of life in the U.S.–Mexico borderlands. Through photography, video, and installation, Pimienta brings language and lived experience into dialogue, offering a powerful meditation on migration, resilience, and the enduring marks left by human and nonhuman movement across borders.
Exhibition date: Sept 17 – October 24, 2026
Opening reception: Thurs, Sept 17, 2026 from 5-7pm
Artist talk: Saturday, October 24, 2026 from 1-3pm
