Long Beach City College is proud to launch its first cohort of College Corps fellows.

This statewide initiative offers college students 450 hours of paid service-learning opportunities designed to address urgent community needs while partnering with and learning from local organizations serving in high-impact areas. The initiative focuses on:

• Partnering with community-based organizations to tackle critical challenges in climate action, food insecurity, and K–12 education
• Providing students with meaningful service experiences that strengthen leadership development, civic engagement, and professional growth
• Supporting low-income students through a learn-and-earn model that helps reduce student debt
