Hi! My name is Colin, I’m a librarian and professor at Long Beach City College.  As a librarian, I coordinate the Library Technician Program and the upcoming Bachelor of Science in Library & Information Science. I’d love to help you earn your Library Technician certificate or degree.

After I earned my Masters of Science in Library & Information Science from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, I served as the Director of Regional Library Services for Kaplan College, which allowed me to plan, operate, and manage the operations for seven campuses across the state. Now, in my role as Librarian at Long Beach City College, I build on my educational background as a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from UCLA in 2019.

Since beginning at LBCC, I have had the pleasure to assist in bolstering the enrollments, success rates, and graduations for the Library Technician program. I’m connected to the past, present, and future of Long Beach City College and look forward to helping you with your education!
