LGBTQ+ Student Advocacy: From Performative Inclusivity to Direct Action on Thurs., April 18 from 1 p.m. – 2 p.m. in the Nordic Lounge, Building E, LAC. Join students from Pride Scholars as they present English 1S final projects. Students will present an identified gap in student services, representation, and/or accommodations. Students advocated for change in four areas: the creation of a Viking Marketplace, an expansion of Student Health information, modifications to student parking, and enhancements to DSPS. Learn how students engaged in advocacy and made changes at LBCC.
