LBCC welcomes Dr. Jennifer R. Nájera, UCR Professor and author, for Beyond the Box on Wed., Oct. 1, from 11 a.m.–1 p.m. in T1200 at the Liberal Arts Campus. Dr. Nájera will share insights from her research on race, immigration, and education, including her most recent book Learning to Lead: Undocumented Students Mobilizing Education. This series explores the diversity and complexity beyond the labels society often places on communities.
