Board President Ntuk to be Honored – Thurs., Feb. 20

Congratulations to Board President Ntuk! Senator Lena Gonzalez will honor LBCC Board of Trustees President Uduak-Joe Ntuk at her annual Black History Month Celebration.

He received the 2025 Black History Month Leadership & Service Recognition by California State Senator Lena Gonzalez. It was for his work as a nationally recognized energy and environmental expert with 20 years of experience. Along with his educational advocacy and leadership, inspiring future engineers, supports STEM initiatives and advocacy for education and innovation. Board President Ntuk was given a Certificate of Recognition by the California State Senate and an honoree certificate from Los Angeles County Supervisor Janice Hahn.

The event will be held on Thurs., Feb. 20, 2025 at the Long Beach Westin Hotel, from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
