Celebrate Juneteenth at LBCC’s First 1865 Showcase!
Tues., June 13
Join us for our official Juneteenth event – 1865 Showcase: An artistic exhibition of Black voices, on Tuesday, June 13, 2023, from 5-7pm in the Nordic Lounge at the Liberal Arts Campus.
The showcase will also feature the presentation of the inaugural 1865 Awards (1865 Viking Award given to a Black/African American LBCC student, 1865 Empowerment Award given to a Black/African American community member, and the 1865 Courageous Leader Award given to a Black/African American LBCC faculty or staff member).
We hope that you will be able to join us for this wonderful event celebrating Independence Day for the Black/African American community!
