Join Interim Superintendent-President Dr. Mike Munoz for a conversation with Joe Louis Hernandez from 1 – 2:30 p.m., on Thurs., April 22 on YouTube Live or www.LBCC.edu. Hernandez has made a journey from criminal convictions to become a Doctoral student at Claremont Graduate School.
As a teenager, Joe Louis had a criminal record that included convictions, jail stays, and numerous drug charges all before his 21st birthday. Today, he is a Doctoral student at Claremont Graduate University, and a graduate of Cal State Long Beach, Cal State Los Angeles, and Mt. San Antonio Community College.
