October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month in October.

LBCC Student Affairs hosts the following workshops, all workshops are open to all current LBCC students, faculty and staff!

Clothesline Project - Presented by YWCA GLA

  • LAC, A-Quad – Wednesday, October 2, 2024, 10am to 1pm (part of Wellness Fest event)
  • TTC,  EE-Quad – Wednesday, October 9, 2024, 10am to 1pm (part of Wellness Fest event)

Domestic Violence Workshop: “Love Does Not Hurt” - Presented by Planned Parenthood

  • LAC, L-103 (Black Student Success Center), Wednesday, October 16, 10 am – 11:30am

Practicing Self-Care. Through Herbalism - Presentation by Green Wisdom Herbal Studies

Create herbal lattes and herbal mocktails as alternatives to caffeine and alcohol.

  • TTC, GG-238 – Thursday, October 10, 11:30am to 1pm
  • LAC, P-113 – Thursday, October 24, 2024 11:30am to 1pm
