The Juneteenth Committee is now accepting nominations for Long Beach City College’s annual 1865 Awards, established in 2023 to celebrate Juneteenth and honor individuals who demonstrate a strong commitment to the Black/African American community through service, leadership, and support. Submission Deadline: Friday, May 1, 2026 at 11:59 p.m.
