        In partnership with LBCC’s Department of Communication Studies, School of Language Arts & Communication, and Faculty Professional Development, guest lecturer Dr. Craig Smith will present “1st Amendment Rights on College and University Campuses” on Thurs., May 16 from 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. in T-1200.
Dr. Smith is Emeritus Director of the Center for First Amendment Studies at CSULB and has authored 24 books & 70 scholarly articles/book chapters, many of which discuss First Amendment issues.
This is an incredible opportunity to learn more about 1st Amendment rights from a local expert scholar.
All students, faculty, and staff are welcome to attend (2 hours flex credit is available).
