Through Lens and Story – Nov. 5 – Dec. 5
Curated by Dr. José Ibarra-Virgen, Through Lens and Story features artists Claudia Arriola, Jimmy Cuevas, Nicolas Linares, Arthur Martins, Daniel Morales, and Mannie Villalobos. Through photography, reflection, and storytelling, first-generation Latinx students explore how culture, family, identity, and belonging shape their experiences with mental health.
The exhibition runs November 5 through December 5, 2026, at the LBCC Art Gallery, K100A, Liberal Arts Campus.
Join us for the Opening Reception on Thursday, November 5, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., and the Closing Reception and Artist Talk on Saturday, December 5, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m., where Dr. Ibarra-Virgen will facilitate a conversation with contributing artists about their work.
