Mark Steven Greenfield
Mark Steven Greenfield is a Los Angeles native and son of a Tuskegee
Airman. He studied under John T. Riddle and Charles White, earning degrees from CSULB and CSULA.
His paintings, exploring African American identity and history, have been exhibited nationally and
internationally, including at CAAM and museums in Thailand, Italy, China, Japan, and Korea. A former
director of the Watts Towers Arts Center and LAMAG, Greenfield teaches at L.A. City College and serves
on the board of Side Street Projects.
