Women’s History Month Essay Contest
Theme: Nevertheless, We Persisted

Event

This year’s theme aims to celebrate women who lead efforts to secure the right to vote as part of a larger struggle for equality for all American women. Submissions are due in the English Dept. Office, P109, LAC by noon on Fri, April 3.

PRIZES: 1ST PLACE – $100, 2ND PLACE – $50, 3RD PLACE  – $25
  • Include your name, Student ID #, and contact information on a cover sheet.
  • Open to current LBCC students, 1 entry per student.
  • Essays must be MLA format and include a Works Cited page. Word count: 750 maximum (not including Works Cited page).
