Success Stories:

One student who completed the Transportation Operations Pathway in spring 2024 and is now a Dispatch Supervisor at DHE Transportation, described how the training equipped him with the knowledge and skills needed to adapt to changing work responsibilities. The information he gained has allowed him to keep up with work “lingo” and better understand how his role at the Port of Long Beach fits into the Global Economic Supply Chain. He often relies on the skills he learned to do his job well. He stressed how “important” this course was and that he “recommends it to everyone” who may be interested. He’s happy to tell all those around him how our program has benefited his life and how often he relies on the knowledge gained.

Another student who completed the Logistics Pathway in Spring 2024 is now a part of the non-profit Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP) SoCal Roundtable. She is a Customer Service Representative at AdelWiggins Aerospace Manufacturing and credits her career advancements in part to our program. Our courses have inspired this student to one day manage a supply chain team and obtain an MBA. She has expressed how valuable her professors are, and she describes them as a “tressure” who prepared her for future jobs, gave valuable insights, and kept the course engaging.
