Textbook Reserves and other reserve items

Textbook Reserves

The Textbook Reserves Collection contains physical copies and electronic copies of current textbooks, used in classes. In order to use a reserve textbook, you need to be a currently enrolled student at LBCC. The time that the books can be checked out varies, from 2 hours to 7 days. If there is a student waiting to use a reserve textbook, it cannot be renewed. If no student is waiting on a reserve textbook, it can be renewed once (in person or by phone). Once a reserve textbook has been renewed, it will need to be returned to the library for 24 hours in order to allow all students equitable access.

Electronic Textbooks

The electronic textbooks are available online for 2-hour checkouts, using your Viking ID and password.
