In general, the AD&GE Subcommittee is charged to oversee the creation, modification, inactivation of programs as well as modifications made to the LBCC-GE and Cal-GETC. According to Administrative Procedure 4020, the AD&GE subcommittee’s functions include, but are not limited to:

Review and recommend to the Curriculum Committee modifications to the Associate Degree and/or Certificates.

Review and recommend to the Curriculum Committee modifications to the General Education Patterns, and certificates.

Review and recommend to the Curriculum Committee additions or modifications in proficiency requirements for the college curriculum. Review and recommend to the Curriculum Committee the appropriateness of courses to be added to the Associate Degree and General Education requirements and/or patterns.

Review and recommend to the Curriculum Committee the program descriptions for the catalog.
