The Citizens’ Oversight Committee is required to hold meetings in January and August of each year. These months are selected since they follow the completion of the annual audits and the beginning of the fiscal year, respectively. The COC will receive quarterly expenditure reports for those quarters not covered during one of the mandatory meetings and will ratify all quarterly expenditure reports at the meetings. Special meetings may be called by the COC Chair at any time for any reason and the District may call for a special meeting under special circumstances.
