Long Beach City College’s planned North Long Beach Student Housing facility represents a major investment in supporting students and addressing housing needs, and strengthens the college’s efforts to bring resources and educational services closer to North Long Beach residents. The student housing facility will include 22 individual units, two full classrooms, and inviting outdoor spaces, and will be located at the intersection of Atlantic Avenue and 59th Street, adjacent to the Michelle Obama Neighborhood Library.  

Status: In Design 
Schedule: Construction estimated to start December 2027; estimated completion Fall 2029.  
Funding Source: Measure LB and AC
