Test Proctoring Services
The MDSC provides limited test proctoring services for instructors with students seeking to make up a missed exam.

Post

The MDSC offers test proctoring for LBCC faculty and students only. Tests are set up with the center by faculty members, who should communicate any testing parameters (deadline, allowed materials, allowed time, etc.) with their students. To set up an exam, please read the following guidelines and then follow the link to our request form.

  • The Multidisciplinary Success Center (MDSC) proctors exams for students who were excused by their instructor to miss an exam day.
  • The MDSC does not have access to student DSPS testing accommodations. If your student is seeking these, please reach out to DSPS at dspstest@lbcc.edu or by calling 562-938-4831. You can learn more about their options on the DSPS Faculty Resources page.
  • Students taking closed book/note exams will be required to lock up their personal belongings in one of our secure spaces before taking their exam. They will be seated within line of sight (through windows) to our staff and checked on occasionally. Beyond that, we can not guarantee that a room monitor will be present at all times.
  • Please remind students that a form of photo identification is required by all students at the time of the exam.
