LBCC Anthropology Student Association
The Anthropology Student Association is dedicated to the study in the four fields of Anthropology. Our goal is to assist those interested in broadening their fields in knowledge, holding special events, as well as helping other clubs in their endeavors. You need not be an Anthropology major to apply. All people are welcome!
The American Anthropology Association (AAA) is an international organization of anthropologists that publishes and shares the latest research, fieldwork, and initiatives. Founded in 1902, the American Anthropological Association is the world’s largest scholarly and professional organization of anthropologists. The Association is dedicated to advancing human understanding and applying this understanding to the world’s most pressing problems. The MDSC Tutoring Center offers tutoring in Anthropology courses.
Supplemental Instruction (SI)
SI is a student success program that provides regular peer-led group study sessions for students in order to help improve their understanding of course material and increase the effectiveness of their study skills.
