Limited Scholarships
Innovation in Education
Deadline: 20th of each month
Website: Los Angeles Tutoring
LA Tutors awards students who showcase their creativity and make positive impacts with a $500 Innovation in Education scholarship. On an ongoing monthly basis, this scholarship is open to all currently enrolled high school and college students who showcase their creativity while helping those around them (whether that be in a creative fundraiser, an inventive new app, series of blog posts on a particular theme, etc.). The application deadline is 11:59 pm PST on the 20th of each month.
Requirements:
- Must be currently enrolled in high school or college
- Cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 (or the equivalent)
- Must be a citizen of, permanent resident of, or hold a valid student visa in the United States or Canada
To Enter:

- Submit an essay describing their innovative project
- Provide supporting documentation (i.e. letter of recommendation, news article/website featuring their project, etc.)

AJ Wang Foundation – Scholarship Fund

The AJ Wang Foundation grants scholarships of $2,000 per year for up to three years while attending selected community colleges in the Los Angeles, Ventura, and Orange County areas. The application period is April 15 - June 1 annually.
Students must meet the following criteria each year:
- Full time attendance
- Minimum 2.75 GPA
- Resident or citizen of USA and its territories or DACA and/or Dream Act eligible
- Have cumulative high school GPA of 2.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale
- Be a graduating high school senior with the goal to attend a community college and earn a degree or certification, and/or meet transfer requirement

California New Car Dealers Association (CNCDA) Car Career Scholarship

This Scholarship is for students enrolled in auto tech programs in the state of California. The top twenty scholarship awardees will receive $5,000 each and one statewide recipient will receive $10,000.
Students must meet the following criteria:
- Be a resident in California
- Be high school seniors or graduates, or current college undergraduates who plan to enroll in part-time (minimum of 6 credits) or full-time undergraduate study at an accredited two-year college or vocational-technical school for the upcoming academic year. If a student is selected as a recipient and will not be enrolled for the entire academic year, the award will be prorated.
- Be pursuing an Automotive Technology degree.
