Content Management System (CMS)

The Content Management System (CMS) is used to create, update, and maintain content on the LBCC website (lbcc.edu). The CMS enables designated department web teams to manage their webpages while following LBCC’s content standards, and web governance guidelines.

Request CMS Access

CMS access is granted to designated department web contributors. Departments must submit the names of their web team members, as approved by their Vice President or Dean, before access can be provided.

Sandbox (Training Environment)

Web contributors should test and practice updates in the CMS sandbox environment before making changes to the live website. Sandbox URL: https://training-v2-lbcc.pantheonsite.io/

Sandbox access is available to current LBCC web contributors only. To request access, please submit a support ticket. Using the sandbox allows contributors to safely test page edits, formatting, and content updates without affecting the live website.

CMS Training Resources

CMS training materials, documentation, and visual guides are available to support content contributors at every stage.

These resources include:

  • Step-by-step guides
  • Visual tutorials and documentation for everyday content updates
  • Recordings from previous training sessions

When do I need to submit a web support ticket?

Please submit a ticket when you need assistance with updates or requests related to webpages on lbcc.edu that require CMS web coordinator (admins) support.

Tickets are needed for requests such as:

      • Uploading files (images, photos, PDFs, or other documents)
      • Changing page templates or layouts
      • Creating or updating site navigation or menus
      • Requesting or modifying CMS access for users

Here’s the link to the ticket system: https://launch.lbcc.edu

How long does it take to complete a request?

To help us process requests as efficiently as possible, please submit tickets as early as you can and include all required details. The lbcc.edu website is currently supported by one web coordinator who manages all CMS administrative requests.

      Typical turnaround times are:

      • Simple updates: approximately 4-5 business days
      • More complex requests: typically 2–3 weeks

Providing complete information up front helps avoid delays and allows us to support your request smoothly. Thank you for your understanding and collaboration.

What should be included in my web support request?

To help us process your request as quickly as possible, please include all required details when submitting your ticket. This typically includes the page URL, a clear description of the update, any related files or images, and the desired timeline.

For a complete list of what to include, please review the Ticket Submission Checklist before submitting your ticket.  Click the button below to view the checklist.

How use or navigate the ticket system?

The ticket system is managed by ITS. For questions about accessing, navigating, or troubleshooting the ticket system itself, please contact the IT Help Desk for assistance. Here’s the link to the ticket system: https://launch.lbcc.edu

      Once a ticket is submitted:

      • Requests related to web content on the lbcc.edu domain are reviewed and processed by the Web Coordinator and CMS Administrator, Christina Chuu.
