For Students 

If you are a student and would like to learn more about becoming a member of the Public Art Advisory Group (PAAG), please email your resume and schedule a meeting with Karla Aguiñiga, kaguiniga@lbcc.edu

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in monthly general meeting, typically on Mondays from 5:30-7pm. 
  • Attend 1-2 monthly subgroup meetings, commitment of 1-3 hours each meeting. 
  • Attend Public Art events as needed. 

Benefits: 

  • Help bring public art to campus. 
  • Connect with students and other campus stakeholders who are interested in art. 
  • Attend studio visits and other arts-related outings. 
  • Learn about contemporary art. 
  • Learn project management skills. 
  • Contribute to changing LBCC’s campus to be more welcoming, inclusive, and empowering for students. 
  • Stipend for your participation in PAAG.
