FAQs

When did we transition to the Trades, Technology, and Community Learning Campus name?

As of August 26, 2024, the former Pacific Coast Campus is now known as the Trades, Technology, and Community Learning Campus, or TTC for short.

Why did we re-brand PCC?

This campus has undergone re-branding before. When LBCC established its second campus at the former Hamilton Junior High School in 1949, it was initially named the Business and Technology Division (BTD). Over time, BTD evolved into what we know today as the Pacific Coast Campus. Today’s TTC moniker more accurately informs the students we serve about the many trade programs and free adult-education classes available at this campus.

What was the process of going through this re-branding?

We took several months to engage our campus community with surveys, town halls, and focus groups before the final TTC name was decided upon.

What if I find the old Pacific Coast Campus name somewhere?

Thank you for your help!  Please Fill Out the Update Form, and let us know the exact location of where the former PCC name can be found.
