TK-12 Careers in Education

Workshop

Want to become a teacher?  Students who would like to work in education at the elementary, middle, high school or beyond can learn more about Long Beach City College’s education courses and pathways to become a teacher at an Orientation to TK-12 Careers in Education and Teaching.  Each session provides information on how to become a credentialed TK-12 teacher, including courses available at LBCC and transfer information.  Students who plan to enroll in either EDUC 10, Introduction to Teaching and Learning or EDUC 20, Intro to Elementary Classroom Teaching are required to attend an orientation before the semester begins to learn about fingerprinting, TB testing, and other course requirements.  RSVP to Professor Megan Kaplinsky, Teacher Preparation Coordinator.
