Teacher Preparation

Tomorrow’s Teachers is Long Beach City College’s teacher preparation program within in the Reading and Teacher Preparation Department. Tomorrow’s Teachers serves students interested in teaching elementary, secondary (middle or high school), or career technical education. If you are a current student who is interested in a career teaching in the K-12 system and beyond, please take a moment to fill out our interest form for more information.

For students enrolling in EDUC 10, Introduction to Teaching and Learning or EDUC 20, Intro to Elementary Classroom Teaching, or EDUC 130 Intro to Secondary Classroom Teaching, please attend a required orientation workshop prior to the start of the semester.
