Long Beach City College Recognized As Pathway Champion For Transfer Excellence
The Campaign for College Opportunity Honors LBCC for Advancing Student Transfer Success and Equitable Degree Completion
The Campaign for College Opportunity honored 40 California Community Colleges and California State Universities (CSU) as Pathway Champions today for their work paving pathways to college and economic opportunity for thousands of California students by strengthening the transfer process. Long Beach City College (LBCC) placed in two categories: Total Campuswide Associate Degrees For Transfers (ADTs), and California Community Colleges ADT Implementation For Black Students.
LBCC Board President Uduak-Joe Ntuk Appointed To Community College League Of California Statewide Advisory Committee On Legislation
The Long Beach Community College District (LBCCD) Board President Uduak-Joe Ntuk has been appointed to the Community College League of California’s (CCLC) Advisory Committee on Legislation, a statewide body that advises on legislative priorities impacting California’s 73 community college districts and 2.1 million students.

FIRST TWO YEARS FREE AT LONG BEACH CITY COLLEGE
Incoming LBUSD high school graduates who enroll at LBCC in the Fall semester immediately following graduation from high school are eligible to have their enrollment fees covered for two years. Students must meet eligibility criteria and complete a participation agreement (deadlines apply).
