EOPS Requirements
For New & Continuing Students

NEW STUDENTS

  • Complete and submit an EOPS Application. Visit how to apply for EOPS for more information.
  • Complete the EOPS Online New Student Orientation (NSO) 
  • Must be registered in 12 units or more 
  • Meet with an EOPS Counselor 3 times per semester 
  • Develop a Comprehensive Education Plan with an EOPS counselor 
  • Pass a minimum of 6 units per semester with at least a 2.0 GPA 
  • Complete Learn 11 or Counseling 49 by their second term in the program 
     

CONTINUING STUDENTS

  • Be in compliance with EOPS 
  • Must be registered in 6 units or more 
  • Meet with an EOPS Counselor 3 times per semester 
  • Develop a Comprehensive Education Plan with an EOPS counselor 
  • Pass a minimum of 6 units per semester with at least a 2.0 GPA 
  • Complete Learn 11 or Counseling 49 by their second term in the program. Check the Schedule of Classes.
  • Have a completed FAFSA or CA Dream Act application on file every academic year (no pending documents).   
  • Be under the 70-units cap for EOPS (Exceptions may be given to high-unit majors)
