Donning the cap and gown, crossing the stage, and turning the tassel: These are the traditions of a formal commencement ceremony that marks a milestone achieved and a new beginning. For nearly a century, Long Beach City College students have crossed this threshold to celebrate all they have accomplished as they leave the College armed with the education, training, and foundation to forge the future. Each year, LBCC welcomes thousands of students, faculty, staff, family members and friends to Veterans Stadium for the commencement ceremony.
