Long Beach City College strives to create a welcoming and inclusive campus and learning environment for all students. LBCC is committed to serving members of the campus community who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer. In honoring this commitment, the LBCCD Board of Trustees adopted a resolution that officially recognizes LGBTQ History Month in support of its students. On this page, you will find resources and information on campus and community-based programs and services that support the LGBTQ+ community.
Long Beach City College provides support and care to our LGBTQ+ students. We value your experiences and individual identity and will work with students to provide affirming, respectful and inclusive instruction in our classrooms including connecting them with support and resources. And we welcome feedback from students throughout the semester to improve the effectiveness of our teaching practices.
