To help ensure a more efficient and organized commencement program, all Faculty, Staff, and Employees who wish to cheer on our graduates from the field will be positioned on the track prior to the official start of the ceremony at 9:30 a.m.

Summer Band Seeking Musicians for Summer Concert

Rehearsals will be held June 23, 25, 30, July 2 and 7 from 7 – 9 p.m. for the annual Summer Concert that will be held on the LAC Lawn at 6 p.m., Wed., July 9. Sign up at rehearsal for $60 to play.

Save the Dates for Movies on the Beach at LBCC – Summer 2025

Join us for LBCC’s summer movie nights under the stars! Bring your blankets and lawn chairs for free outdoor screenings at both campuses. On Thurs., July 17, enjoy Ferris Bueller’s Day Off at the Liberal Arts Campus. Then on Thurs., Aug. 14, head over to the Trades, Technology, and Community Learning Campus for Guardians of the Galaxy.

Both movies will begin at sunset, between 8 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. All students, friends, and families are welcome.

LAC’s T Building to Become U and T Buildings this Fall

Beginning Fall 2025, the current T Building at the Liberal Arts Campus will be split into two distinct areas:

  • U Building (southern end): Includes the Board Room (currently known as T-1100) and other administrative offices, including the Executive Suite, Human Resources, Mail Room, and other offices.
  • T Building (northern end): Includes the T-1200 multi-purpose room, and all classrooms and offices north of it.

The new U Building designation of the administrative areas will be fully implemented by the time students and faculty return from the summer.
