SW Regional Council of Carpenters Donates Food to LBCC Students
The Carpenters also donated 5,000 KN-95 masks
The Long Beach City College (LBCC) received a donation of 90 cases of food, and 5,000 KN-95 masks on Thurs., Feb. 3 from the Southwest Regional Council of Carpenters. The food was collected for the College’s Viking Vault food pantries and will be distributed to Long Beach City College students in need.
Ntuk and Chico to Lead LBCCD For a Second Year In a Row
At its Annual Organization and Regular Session meeting on Wed., Dec. 15, the Long Beach Community College District (LBCCD) Board of Trustees elected Trustee as President Uduak-Joe Ntuk of the LBCCD Board of Trustees, and Herlinda Chico was elected Vice President. This is the second year in a row that Ntuk and Chico will serve in these roles.
