Long Beach City College (LBCC) has been officially designated as a California Black-Serving Institution (BSI) by the state’s Governing Board for Black-Serving Institutions—making LBCC one of only 31 institutions statewide selected across the University of California, California State University, California Community Colleges, and independent universities.
