LBCC to Honor 2017 Hall of Fame Inductees
An attorney who defends small businesses and nonprofits, a longtime community volunteer, a philanthropist, a U.S. Navy SEAL and a commercial real estate agent have been named as Long Beach City College’s 2017 Hall of Fame inductees, Long Beach City College (LBCC) officials recently announced.

Long Beach City College hosted the grand opening of two buildings that house the Electrical Technology Program and the Lifetime Learning Center at the Pacific Coast Campus today, Oct. 4. The $20.3-million project, financed by voter-approved bonds, included construction of one new building and major renovation to another.

Not only did Chef Tarak Ouk, known as Chef T, hone his chops in restaurants across the city, but he first donned his chef’s coat as a Viking.

No. 4 LBCC Men’s Soccer team defeated the Orange Coast Pirates at the LeBard Stadium 3-1 to improve their record to a perfect 6-0 overall on Tuesday evening. The Vikings are continuing to improve their best start under head coach Cameron Beaulac.
