Equitable Placement & Success Subcommittee
The Equitable Placement and Success Subcommittee provides leadership, coordination, and support for instructional areas regarding course placement in alignment with state and local policy. English, Reading, Mathematics, and ESL will review placement data, their implications, and best practices (in and outside of the college) in order to continuously adapt thoughtful policy and practice to streamline the student experience, improve student learning, and accelerate the completion of academic goals. In the spirit of the Vision of Success and legislative initiatives, the subcommittee will collaborate to ensure equitable placement, student access, and successful completion of transfer-level courses for all students.
